Total Quantity of Bikes

The Punjab government will give 20,000 bikes to students as part of a special scheme. There will be 1,000 electric bikes and 19,000 petrol bikes. The Chief Minister of Punjab made sure that students wouldn't have to pay any extra money (interest) when they paid for the bikes each month. The Punjab government will cover the interest instead.

Monthly Installment

For students who want to know about paying in installments, here's the deal: The Punjab government teamed up with the Bank of Punjab. They've set the installment for electric bikes at 10,000 rupees and for petrol bikes at 5,000 rupees. They've kept it low to help students afford them easily and focus on their studies.
